Dinner in Woodstock

Back when I was up in The Catskills last month, we went out to dinner in Woodstock at this amazing Italian restaurant called Cucina. And last night as I was craving the incredible pasta dish I had there I knew I had to share this place!

Recommended by our Airbnb host, Cucina was first opened in 2006 and is located in a historic farmhouse in Woodstock, NY.

As a group of 8 girls we needed a place that could accommodate a large party and a wide range of taste buds (I won’t lie I can be super picky) and Cucina's Italian menu was easily able to do all that!

We actually thought we would be eating in an old barn converted into a restaurant but it turned out the barn is located next door and is for private events! I can only image how beautiful the weddings they have there are!

When it came to drinks they have a pretty unique menu but with great variety. I ended up with a nice glass of Montepulciano wine, while some of the other girls got cocktails and one got a glass of Malbec.

For food, everything around us that was coming out looked amazing so we all had a hard time choosing but here is what we got:

Rigatoni with sausage, peas, cream, spicy tomato

Fusilli Bolognese, ricotta, olive oil

Classic Chicken Parm, linguine, tomato, basil

Parma Pizza, prosciutto, arugula, tomato, mozzarella

The Chicken Parm, was hands down one of the best I have ever tried! Make sure you also try the Fusilli Bolognese, three people in our group ordered it and really enjoyed it!

If your in the Woodstock or anywhere close by in the Hudson Valley, make sure you eat at Cucina!

ps. sorry the lighting in the photos is terrible (taking photos at night is hard!)
