Drybar 4-Pack Hold Me Hair Clips
Soooo, it has been a goal of mine to figure out how to get my curls to stay in longer. I’ve been told my hair is “too heavy” and that unless I cut it, they never will. And well…I refuse to accept that. I have seen plenty of people with thick long hair, have gorgeous long lasting curls.
So, when I saw another blogger do a curls tutorial recently, I saw that she used these to keep her curls tight after she took the heat off. She then kept clipping the sections together and I was so shocked how these didn’t leave marks on her hair and really kept the curls in tact. Then I tried and I was pleasantly surprised they did the same for me! I wish I had known about these sooner because wow I’m so happy.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
Another game changing product right here. Whether I’m trying to have great curls or feeling like my hair needs a pick me up, this is what I use! It gives me such great texture and volume without leaving any stickiness or residue. You honestly can’t tell that you sprayed it except for the fact your hair has more volume. I even have some friends who can just use this as their “hairspray” to keep curls and waves looking great. Worth every penny.

Beachwaver PRO 1
I told you this was basically a saga of me perfecting curls right? Well, this is another crucial tool in that quest. I for the life of me cannot use a traditional curling iron without having a ton of kinks. I tried so many different brands but came to horrifying conclusion that the problem was actually ME. So when I found the Beachwaver, my life changed (sounds dramatic but legit true). This product is amazing because it curls my hair for me. I clip the ends of each section to the barrel and it twists it around for me, creating the perfect curl. I chose to get the Beachwaver Pro because I have longer hair and needed the longer barrel. I will say if you don’t clip your hair in the perfect spot you can have a little kink but nothing like I was getting in the past. And after using it a few times you will get the hang of it and have no issues. It also has a left and right function to have curls face the correct way! My only complaint was I bought mine before the pink color came out! I need that one lol

Scrunches
I know it might seem silly to have these here but hear me out! With working from home full time now, I have found I keep my hair up a lot more. And traditional hair ties were cutting into my hair and actually giving me headaches. So when I purchased these I was super happy. They don’t stretch out but hold my heavy hair up well and leave me headache free. While this seem so simple, I still feel like they have been a top purchase for me and love to share them!

Drybar 100 Proof, Smoothing Oil
While I feel like I don’t have super frizzy hair, I do feel like when anyone uses hairspray or styles their hair, some lovely frizz and flyaways always make an appearance. I find myself pushing the top of my hair down thinking that will somehow fix it and well usually it does not lol. So when this product was recommended to me, I bought it right away. I was willing to try anything. I now use this as my final step after I style my hair. You don’t need a lot but I put a pump or two in my hands, run it through my hair and then on the top of my head. Not only has it kept my flyaways and frizz at bay, it also has given my hair a smoothed look with a touch of shine.

Living Proof Flex Proof Styling Hairspray
This is hands down the most important product I have discovered. I HATE how most hairsprays make your hair sticky, stuck together, wet/greasy looking and overall just gross. I asked so many friends, family and coworkers what they used and no one had a product that they loved and solved the problem. So when I when I found this product it has been a total game changer and I tell anyone who asks to buy it. I cannot say enough good things about it. I am able to keep styling my hair after I have applied it, can use it for days and it works the same. It’s incredible and has really solved my issues. I cannot wait to try more Living proof products in 2021!
