My Favorite Relaxation Products

As we all know, we get stressed and it can come from so many different places. Work, family, relationships, friends and so much more. And while I get stressed too, I thought it would be fun to share what I used to help me relax.

1. Comfy Clothes
Like I said I am no expert and we all know this but comfy clothes are a game changer. Even if I am home in between plans for only 30 minutes, I will still change into comfier clothes. Because I know I’m more relaxed and recharging faster the comfier my clothes are.

2. Bath Bombs and Lotions
Sometimes all one needs is to close the door, fill up the tub with warm water, drop in a bath bomb and spend some time alone. My favorite bath bomb is from Old Whaling Co. I love their Oatmeal & Honey flavor and use their lotion all the time as well. (both products are pictured the photo.) I promise taking a hot bath can help anyone relax. Cue the scene of Chandler from Friends in tub.

3. Candles
Ahhh the classic. After a long day, there is no better feeling then finally getting to come home and unwind. Lighting a candle makes me instantly more relaxed and I’ve noticed certain scents do as well. It’s an easy option that gives pretty instant results and I’m very thankful for them. Right now I’m loving the “Spiced Cider” flavor from capri BLUE, which you can purchase at Anthropologie.

4. Airpods
I have recently joined the AirPod obsession and I have to be honest, they are a game changer. Even on a crowded subway train, with my eyes closed and my AirPods in, I am instantly more relaxed and some days even forget I’m on the train for a few minutes. It’s really great before a full day of work. But anytime I am stressed, listening to music is one of the top actions that helps me relax. Even just a few minutes can help me and my AirPods have been a great addition.

5. Peach Tea
One of my favorite things to do in the winter (which kills me knowing it will be here before we know it) is to get all cozy in bed, put on one of my favorite movies and have a cup of peach tea. This tea regardless of the bed/movies situation, has helped me relax tremendously. I even found by drinking it at night I sleep better. I don’t know what it is but after that first sip of tea, I already feel more relaxed.

6. Adoratherapy
Through some friends I’ve recently learned more about aromatherapy and essentials oils. And the more I learn the more I like. When feeling stressed I’ve now started spraying my Adoratherapy Mood Boost and really noticed all I need to do is take a deep breath in and out and I feel my mood enhance and am more calm.

7. Sleep Mask
I’m pretty sure the first thing I think we all want to do when we need to relax is sleep. The ultimate form of relaxation, sleeping recharges our bodies, minds and gets us ready for life all over again the next day. Sleeping is key to living a stress free life and it’s something I really struggle with. So, whenever I see a new product that can help with sleep, I check it out. So when I came upon Slip sleep masks I had to try them out. Made with the highest quality silk, the mask helps me sleep longer nights, does not move around, leave marks or bother my eyes.

8. My Favorite Wine
I saved the best for last. When it doubt and nothing else works, I love a good glass of wine (or two) to relax. It’s even better when you add some good friends into the mix. I love Cabernet Sauvignon and Rosé, so those are always my go to’s when I need a good glass of relaxation.
