Blank Slate Tea

Recently, I was so excited to get together for lunch with my friend Elizabeth! And where to meet/eat is the always the hardest part in New York! (my list of places I want to eat/try grows each day)

So, to keep true to my obsession with pink, we met at Blank Slate Tea! Naturally, I first found it in on Instagram and knew I had to cross it off my list! Blank Slate Tea, is actually the sister shop to Blank Slate Coffee and Kitchen. And both are located a few doors down from other in, believe it or not Midtown East on 121 Madison Avenue (between 30th & 31st).

The shop is petite in size, with about 10 small tables (we were so lucky to get one when we got there!) And the decor inside is my dream. The wallpaper is beautiful, I LOVE the pink booths (I want one so bad). The floral water bottles, amazing signs and color straws, it’s all so cute!

I love tea (not as much as coffee, of course), and I have such fond memories of drinking tea with my nana and I love having glass at night in the winter to help me stay warm! So I couldn’t wait to try the tea at Blank Slate. I also am VERY picky when it comes to food and drinks so I pushed myself to try something new. This time I chose to try the Rose latte!

Anddddddd I liked it! I did feel a bit like I was drinking a flower but it was light and am glad I tried it! Elizabeth got their version of a “Arnold Palmer” and she enjoyed it as well!

Along with lots of matcha, kombucha and a ton of tea latte’s, they also have food! The menu has a ton of great options, including Avocado Toast, Roast Turkey sandwich and two great sounding salads. I chose to try the turkey sandwich, while Elizabeth tried the “AEC” (Avocado, Egg and Cheddar) sandwich. Besides the bread crumbling and making a mess, I really enjoyed my sandwich! It was very crisp and fresh.

I really felt very at home here as 90% of people there were ordering pink drinks and food and taking lots of blog worthy photos. Go check it out and do the same!
