Throw the Perfect Galentine's Day Brunch!
If your like me and love any excuse to spend time with your girlfriends, then you know how excited I get about galentine's day! This year all the girls gathered at our friend Lauralee's apartment in the lower east side for some brunch and sweet treats! And lots of mimosa's!
As a lover of Valentine's day, decorating and parties, I was so excited to decorate for this party and to get to share it! Below, find out all the details of our day, some tips and tricks and where to shop our party decor! xo
Food
We dined on a delish homemade egg bake, quiche, mini bagels and fresh fruit.
Sweets
We have some great bakers in our group of friends so many of the cookies were homemade! But we also had some super cute doughnuts from Dunkin and adorable candies from Sugarfina!
Drinks
To keep with the pink theme, we drank Veuve du Vernay Icy Rose champagne and had a mimosa bar with classic orange juice and also strawberry, orange and banana (it was the perfect pink color!)
Games
While sipping and snacking, we spent the day laughing and playing "Chick Flick Trivia" and "Joking Hazard"
Favors
We ended the day with adorable "XO" mugs with "Sweethearts" candy. The perfect sweet send off to a perfect galentines day!
Some tips for the day!
-Be prepared for spills and messes! (We had so many!)
-Have extras, you never know who may be able to come last minute!
-Diet starts tomorrow! Enjoy your time with your gals and eat all the sweets!
-If you are hosting, don't be afraid to ask everyone to bring a little something!
